Scan & Design Systems

For dental models and impressions

Dental Wings offers three distinct scanners to meet the individual needs of small, medium and large-sized laboratories and dental clinics. Our systems accurately digitize impressions and/or positive models, and are fully integrated with our DWOS® software, to enable the design of a wide range of dental indications.

Reliable and Accurate Scanning Technology

Dental Wings 3D scanners are based on proven and reliable laser triangulation scanning technology, with three to five axes of movement. They have an on-board computer with a 64-bit processor, dedicated graphic card and 8 GB of memory. Superior resolution is achieved by using high-speed cameras with reduced field of view.

Manufactured and tested in our Montréal, Canada-based facility, all Dental Wings scanners are subjected to a stringent cycle of testing and metrological analyses to ensure accurate and consistent digitization of dental volumes.

Benefits of Going Digital with Dental Wings Scanners

  • Plug and play installation and ease of use.
  • High scanning accuracy.
  • Extensive range of scanning applications, including full arch, wax-ups, implant locators, occlusions, opposing teeth, triple tray impressions, onlay, inlay, and veneer cases.
  • Integrated scan and design workflow with DWOS software.
  • Easy clinic-lab communication with DWOS Connect.
  • Freedom for the fabrication options since our systems generate STL files – standard non-proprietary formats (open architecture).
  • Access to branded dental materials such as the Straumann CARES® Prosthetic portfolio and 3M Lava materials.
Automated scan and design mode — 30 copings for the 7Series scanner, and 12 copings for the 3Series.

7Series

The 7Series scans impressions and models. Delivered with several DWOS design applications, this scanner is well-suited for the medium to large dental laboratory, where high volume throughput is required, and versatility is a must.

3Series

The 3Series is a compact model scanner offered in flexible DWOS software configurations. Ideal for small and medium-sized dental laboratories, the 3Series scanner is particularly well-suited for the outsourcing business model.

iSeries

The iSeries impression scanner is designed to be the easiest way for practitioners to transition to digital dentistry.
Anyone on the dental team could quickly digitize traditional impressions for transfer to the laboratory.
